Trim Levels
The new Corvette comes in four different trim levels, and they each have their own exterior features to keep in mind when finding your best fit. At the base level, the corvette Stingray 1LT boasts Brembo brakes with black-painted brake calipers, five-spoke alloy wheels, and all-season run-flat tires. Engine
There are two engine options available with the new Corvette, and they both pack a serious punch. The base-level engine is a 6.2-liter V-8 that features 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. If you opt for the performance exhaust, that gets boosted to 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. The Z06, on the other hand, is equipped with a powerful 5.5-liter V-8 that offers an incredible 670 horsepower with 460 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
The performance of the new Corvette easily puts it on par with some of the most renowned sports cars on the market. You'll control this powerhouse with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that lets you use a push-button gear selector or shift paddles on the steering wheel. Unsurprisingly, it can reach 60 mph from a dead stop in just 2.8 seconds when properly equipped.
Interior
Inside the Corvette, you'll find a premier two-seater with a futuristic interior covered in luxurious materials. The climate control system is quite comprehensive — ensuring a comfortable drive — and the Corvette also features the 3 Plus infotainment system run by an 8-inch touchscreen interface. It also includes a 4G LTE mobile hot spot and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity.
